Centerity combines and enhances proprietary software with best of breed open source components into enterprise class monitoring software. The results is an affordable inexpensive solution which can be adapted and deployed to a wide range of customers from small and medium thorough large and enterprise companies.

Using open source components such as Nagios* to monitor your infrastructure, MySQL to store retrieved data and RRDtool to measure and display performance. Proprietary components such as powerful user interface and web administration which uses the latest web 2.0 techniques such as AJAX, Web services, Flash. automated network discovery, map drawing retrieve SNMP and SYSLOG notifications and more. Produce features packed highly flexible and configurable solutions to accommodate varied and rapidly changing environments.

Centerity Monitor Standard Edition 500 include four layers:

1. Visibility Layer - Centralized web interface which can be accessed from any computer in your network and can view real time status, reports, outages, alarms, performance data and web administration.
2. Integration Layer - retrieve data from various collecting methods such as agent and agent-less, SNMP traps, Syslog NG, Active and Passive Results.
3. Service Layer - analyze and report results of data collected. Trigger actions based on retrieved data. Normalize data for additional processing tools.
4. Data Layer - store analyzed data in rational database and performance tools for later reporting and use of other Centerity modules.

Centerity Monitor Standard Edition 500 provides Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) - in order to provide users the power to enhance and expand new capabilities according to their needs. Additional plugins and triggers can be added and incorporate to the system from the web interface in just a few clicks. Additional tools provide the ability to integrate automatic provisioning platform from external systems such as CRM software or other applications.
